Thinking About Buying A Home?

     Buying a home is one of the major purchase decisions of your life; therefore, it's important to be an informed buyer. It is a good idea to speak with a mortgage lender prior to looking for a house.  They can determine what amount you are qualified to spend.  Your lender will give you a good faith estimate of closing costs that you can expect to pay out of pocket.  Some of the closing costs include your down payment, bank fees, attorney fees, insurance and tax escrows, appraisal fee, etc.   

    As your exclusive buyer's agent, I will help you find a home and can show you any listing on the market or a home for sale by owner.  When you find the house you want, it is time to make a written offer.  Most sellers expect to see earnest money to accompany the offer.  This is an amount of money that you are willing to put up as a deposit.  This amount will be credited to you at closing. 

    Once your offer is accepted, it is recommended that you get a home inspection.  The inspection will show the repairs that the house may need.  The cost of the repairs can be negotiated with the seller. 

    The following is a list of duties that I can perform for you as your buyer's agent:  search for listings meeting your criteria, set up showing appointments, accompany you on the showing, provide comparable properties to help you determine an amount to offer, write your offer to purchase contract, negotiate contracts, refer you to a mortgage lender and closing attorney, coordinate inspections and appraisals, do a final walk-thru inspection.  I will monitor the progress of your contract and work with the closing attorney to help you get into your home as quickly as possible.
